Community Inclusion Specialist I
Peninsula Alliance Inclusion Specialist provides skills training to individuals who live independently or with their family in Kitsap and Mason counties. This position uses person-centered planning approaches to develop daily living skills such as budgeting, housekeeping, shopping and food preparation, socialization, recreation, and transportation. They work in community settings with a high degree of flexibility and creativity to support the needs of the individual with IDD.
Extra Help - Dance Staff
The Friday Night Social at Peninsula Alliance exists to provide an enjoyable and social outlet for adults in the community who have been diagnosed with an intellectual and/or developmental disability. The dance is a lively, fast-paced, uplifting environment for over 200 attendees. The dance is held each Friday (except holiday weekends) from 4 pm to 7 pm. Live DJ/music and snack food are provided to all participants and caregivers.
